HEMIPLEGIA AND HOMEOPATHY

HEMIPLEGIA-HOMEOPATHY

INTRODUCTION
Our brain is split into two segments or hemispheres separated by nerve pathways. Paralysis of 1 half of the body involves the lower half of the face and upper and lower limbs thanks to an opposite-sided pyramidal lesion. The left side of the brain controls the right side of the body, and the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body. There's loss of strength in the arm and sometimes falling on one side of the body.

CAUSATION
  • CVA [stroke] thanks to thrombosis, cerebral embolism [blood clotting], and bleeding.
  • Atherosclerosis [Clotting in vessels]
  • Head injury
  • Uremia [high urea in blood]
  • Cerebral tumor and abscess
  • Syphilitic endarteritis
  • Congenital defect, etc.
  • Lack of oxygen in brain

SIGNS / SYMPTOMS
  • The onset is sudden; the center arteria cerebri is chiefly affected
  • The lower half of the face is affected, and also the tongue on protrusion. It deviates towards the paralyzed side.
  • The planter response is extensor [upwards]; normally it's flexion.
  • Deep reflexes are exaggerated.
  • There is weakness in turning the top and eyes to the paralyzed side.
  • Muscles of mastication [chewing] are usually not affected.
  • At the start, the affected side of the body becomes flaccid [relaxed].
  • Difficulties in talking

INVESTIGATIONS
  • CT scanning for determining the dimensions and site of hematoma also in diagnosis of hemorrhage
  • MRI of brain
  • X-RAY of brain in first measurement
  • Blood for RE, Lipid profile, Urea

HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINES
Arnica Mont 200 is first and foremost medicine for Intracranial hemorrhage or blood coagulation by any means
Lachesis M 200 is another medicine for a high vital sign with the CVA
Bothrops 30 may be a medicine where eyes are affected
Causticum 200 is the medicine where a single part of the body is affected.
Asteria Rubens 30 is that the medicine where paralysis in the tongue.
Conium Mac 6 is that the medicine where paralysis starts from right down to upwards

PHYSIOTHERAPY may be a GOOD PRACTICE FOR QUICK RECOVERY AFTER HEMIPLEGIA.
FAMILY SUPPORT IS ANOTHER GOOD ADVOCACY FOR QUICK RECOVERY.
